LM-2F is developed on the basis of LM-2E to meet the requirement of launching manned spaceship, featuring improved reliability and ensured safety. LM-2F is consisted of four liquid boosters, the first stage, the second stage, fairing and escape systems. There are ten subsystems: rocket structure, control system, power system, fault checking system, escape system, telemetry system, exterior measurement of safe system, propellant system, auxiliary system and ground equipment. The fault checking system and escape system are developed for ensuring astronaut safety. LM-2F launch vehicles have successfully flied ShenZhou 1 to ShenZhou 7 manned spaceships.
