Recently, at the 73rd International Astronautical Congress held in Paris, France, China's Tianwen-1 Spacecraft Development Team won the IAF World Space Award in 2022.

Representatives of the China National Space Administration and Tianwen-1 Spacecraft Development Team received the award at the 73rd International Astronautical Congress in Paris and delivered their acceptance speeches.

　　The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) declares that the Tianwen-1 Spacecraft Development Team has provided an innovative path to successfully explore Mars and made outstanding contributions to the development of human Mars exploration and deep space exploration technology.

　　The World Space Award is the highest space award set by the International Astronautical Federation, which aims to recognize individuals or teams who have made outstanding contributions to global space activities in the fields of space science, space technology, space medicine, space engineering management, etc. It is an honor facing "outstanding achievements in the world". In 2020, China's Chang'e-4 Mission Team won this award.
